We are delighted to announce our official 2017 partnership with the app Gone for Good.
If you are registered with our sister site Landlord News, you will have received news of our joint partnership in its free monthly newsletter for January.
As you hopefully know, we are committed to encouraging all landlords and property professionals to act responsibly and within the law. Through our blog – where we post daily news and updates – and our partner site Landlord News, we regularly keep everyone in the sector up to date with the latest information and advice.
And this year is no different! In fact, we are going one step further in 2017 to urge our landlords and their tenants to use Gone for Good to donate to their favourite charities and get rid of unwanted clutter.
If you have any unnecessary belongings in your rental property or home, Gone for Good will help you donate them to charities in need of certain items.
Whether you are looking to refurnish and need to get rid of an old sofa, your tenants have left behind a TV, or you have excessive bags of clothes to clear out, simply use the app to find out who will take your donation and they will collect it for you, for free!
Gone for Good is partnered with some of the largest and most well known charities across the UK, including Cancer Research UK, Shelter and Oxfam. In its first year, it raised around £1m for its charity partners!
Not only can the Gone for Good app help in creating many more donations for the charities that need them, but it also turns your clutter into something good for the environment, by re-channelling the items that currently end up in landfill.
Support your favourite charities and do your bit for the environment by downloading Gone for Good now – let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org if you donate any items, as we’d love to see what landlords are doing to help a great cause!
